How do grounding sheets and mats work?
Grounding products connect to the grounding port of a properly grounded outlet using the supplied grounding cord. This connects the conductive material in the product to the earth connection in your home.
Does electricity run through grounding products?
No. Grounding products are not powered devices and do not use electricity in the way an appliance does. They connect to the earth grounding system only.
Are grounding products safe to use overnight?
Yes. Our grounding sheets are designed for comfortable overnight use and include a built-in 99kΩ safety resistor in the grounding cord.
Do I need a special outlet for grounding products?
You need a properly grounded outlet. A region-specific grounding connection is supplied where applicable. If you are unsure, it is a good idea to test your outlet before use.
